Our History

WHITSON-MORGAN MOTOR COMPANY was founded October 20, 1955 as the Ford and Mercury dealership in Johnson County, Arkansas by Harold Whitson and Lawrence Morgan. Their goal then was to provide citizens of this area the very best in sales and service of Ford and Mercury vehicles.

The business grew as Mr. Whitson and Mr. Morgan delivered on their promise of best in sales and service. In 1986 Whitson-Morgan moved from its downtown location which it had outgrown to its new and current location at I-40 & Highway 103 S, Exit 58. In 1987 Whitson-Morgan added the Chrysler line of cars and trucks including Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep to its product offering.
